Foster Powell Neighborhood Association
Huge project with my buddies Firekat and Mundoo. I was blessed with the privilege to update this historic southeast Portland structure. Matt and Eric at the Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association provided awesome support and morale for the team in the summer heat. One half of the building is dedicated to honoring the women who made strides for all humans through civil and rights and justice. Yuri Kochiyama, Angela Davis, Frida Khalo, and Marsha P. Johnson are represented. The other half of the mural is an abstract compilation of fists and messages of empowerment and vibrancy in each fist.
